Carving out a space for youth voices in Tauranga!

We're excited to share this article about a local Youth Hui initiative led by Aiza Mustasam.

Diana, an aspiring journalist and student from Mount Maunganui College, captured the importance of creating spaces where rangatahi can connect with local leaders and have their voices heard.

We think it's pretty special that this story and kaupapa has been told by and led by young people, sharing their own experiences and perspectives.

The second was about action.

Last Saturday, rangatahi, local leaders and community change makers explored how the insights and ideas shared by young people can be turned into meaningful change.

Because youth engagement doesn't end with being heard. It continues when communities step up, take responsibility, and commit to making a difference.

This is where action begins 💜
