Pregnancy and early motherhood can feel a lot harder than you expected, and sitting with that quietly is exhausting.

Each month The Village NZ runs a free, online perinatal mental health support group for māmā in Aotearoa, led by Liora, our women's CBT and psychotherapy trained counsellor.

This is a warm space to talk, connect, and be heard by others on the same journey.

Coming up next week on our free online hub.

Your body already knows how to give birth. But is your mind as ready as your body?

1 in 3 women describe their birth as traumatic. Not from medical complications. From feeling emotionally unprepared and out of control in the moment.

That gap is exactly why our Emotional Preparedness for Birth & Baby class exists.

This is where we talk about the stuff that doesn't usually get covered. The fear. The uncertainty. What your mind needs just as much as your body. Facilitated by Liora, a counsellor trained in CBT and ACT, this free online class gives you the tools to feel genuinely ready. Not just physically, but emotionally.

You deserve to walk into birth feeling informed, grounded, and supported.

Comment PREPARED and we'll send you the link to join. Completely free for every māmā-to-be in Aotearoa.

If you've Googled "how do I know when labour starts?" at 2am, this free online antenatal course in Aotearoa is for you.

What does a contraction actually feel like? When do you call the midwife? What does your birth partner actually do?

Our three-session Online Antenatal Course covers labour, birth, pain relief, newborn care, feeding and the fourth trimester. Practical, honest, and built around where you actually are right now. And whoever is in your corner can join you online too. Your partner, your mum, your best friend.
All welcome.

Your next Postnatal Pelvic Flow class is this Friday 12 June at 9:30am NZST and we'd love to see you there!

Classes 3 and 4 continue on Friday 19 and Friday 26 June at the same time.

This series works a little differently to a standard four-week programme, so keeping up your attendance each week is really important. Each 30-minute class builds on the last, and that consistency is what makes the difference.

Your next Prenatal Pelvic Flow class is coming up and we want to make sure you're there.

Class 2 is this Wednesday 10 June at 6:30am NZST and classes 3 and 4 follow on Wednesday 17 and Wednesday 24 June at the same time.

This series runs a little differently to a standard four-week programme. Each class builds on the last, so showing up each week is where the real benefit comes from. Just 30 minutes, and your body will thank you for it.

We know how hard feeding a new baby can feel. And this Friday, we've got a free space to help.

If feeding has been hard, confusing, lonely, or just not what you pictured, this one hour could change your whole week.

Our free Lactation Consultant Support session is on this Friday 12 June, 9am to 10am, online.
It's gently guided by Liora Noy, an IBCLC and registered nurse, and it's a live, real-talk space for wherever you're at. Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, expressing, combo feeding, or still figuring it out.
All of it welcome, none of it judged.

Bring your questions, your pēpi, your messy bun, and your camera on or off. Just come as you are.
It's completely free, because we believe every māmā deserves real feeding support, not Dr Google.

Comment FEEDING and we'll send you the link to join.

Your body just did something extraordinary māmā, and your pelvic floor and core felt every bit of it.

Leaking, pressure, heaviness, feeling disconnected from your core, this is so much more common than you think, and it’s not something you just have to live with.

Brooke and Laura, our personal trainer and pelvic health physio, break down exactly what your postnatal body needs to recover well and understand your body better and how to support it.

Free, online, weekly sessions for new mums in Aotearoa.
