Here's a few photos of our blessing that took place on Friday last week.

A special thank you to Peri Kohu and our local church elder Tavita for their special contribution that made this such a special moment for all of us in attendance.

Thank you to everyone for the singing, the blessing, the love, the laughter and the connection we shared on this day.

Also a special shout out to Good Neighbour Food Rescue who donated kai for our morning tea.

We are very pleased to announce that today we received our license to officially open our doors as Tai O Fenua Kindergarten.

We are thankful first and foremost to the Lord above for providing us with this huge honour and blessing to serve our Pasifika community here in Tauranga.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey but most importantly thank you to all our wonderful families and children who have been a part of this.

The journey has only just begun!

We will be in touch with all our enrolled families to discuss with you our process for enrolment from here and our official opening day.

LUNCHES FOR LEARNERS

Good Neighbour is excited to be working with Gate Pa School to provide tamariki with healthy school lunches. Our goal is to create opportunities for whanau and community involvement in the classroom every day.

We are asking for whanau or community volunteers to assist with serving the lunches to classrooms during term time. You would be serving lunch to the class and helping them with the clean-up (kids have to wash their own dishes).

The time commitment is about 1 hour per day from 12.45pm

If you would like to be involved in your school community let me know the day/s you can help. It can be a commitment of just one day a week or more if you can

Full training will be provided.
