Over the weekend, our band attended the Matamata Bands Festival for the very first time and we were incredibly proud to come away with a Silver Award along with the Adjudicator’s Choice Cup across both days of the festival!!

What’s more awsome is the large number of schools our students come from across Tauranga and the Western Bay, including ACG Tauranga, Tauranga Intermediate, Tauranga Boys College, Otumoetai College, Mount Maunganui College, Bethlehem College, Katikati College and Omanu Primary.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the band, and congratulations to all of our players 🎶

A few weeks ago the band performed their last concert of the year, a spooktacular special!

Our Auxiliary band is attending the Waikato Bay of Plenty Brass Band Association 2025 regional contest in Hamilton this weekend!

We had six juniors play their first solo ever in the novice this morning. All soloists had very polished performances and band is very proud of the hard work they have put in.
We also acknowledge our pianist Penny for supporting the students and Jeremy’s assistance with the piano rehearsals.
The band also played as an ensemble in the afternoon which went really well.

A few weeks ago the band put on a spectacular concert!

Thank you to those who came along and watched, the band did themselves proud and all their hard worked paid off. We had our first social tenpin bowling session to celebrate afterwards.

Band starts back today and we are all looking forward to our first regional contest 🎶
