YoubeYou - Ngamotu Theatre For Youth is a theatre club for young people that encourages belonging, creates spaces that value inclusivity and will produce amazing performances designed to promote social and dramatic skills development. What an amazing achievement for Tauranga Moana. Long the bastian of concerns around racism, homophobia and various other hateful behaviours, lil' ole Tauranga might just be starting to grow up! A long road to walk still, but a very big well done to the A Rainbow Crossing for Tauranga Moana crew, and all who supported this innitiative, publicly or privately. You should all be very 'proud'. 🌟 What an incredible ride at the final Voices Unplugged - Conversations in Diversity event! 🎤✨ What a way to close out a series that was inspiring, creative, challenging, thought-provoking, educational, and downright entertaining.

If you missed these events, we invite you to ask yourself why? Was it about timing or availability? That's understandable. But if it was a lack of interest, we encourage some reflection. True allyship is about having the courage to step outside your own world and embrace others'. It’s this very courage that shapes a thriving, equitable society.

We’re not there yet, but by acknowledging where we can release our power and privilege, we pave the way for a better city, region, country, and planet. 🌍 Let’s keep listening, learning, and growing together.
