We work for anyone in Taupo and the surrounding area whose life has been impacted upon as a result of what I like to call a 'Neurological Malfunction'. (Parkinson's, MS, Stroke, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Motor Neurone disease and Brain Injury in the first instance)

be progressive, you gots to keep moving forward, adjusting your mindset accordingly to acknowledge that although the path you thought you were on in life just got blasted to smithereens by a badass bazooka, you never give up, you never stop trying, you never, ever drop your head. You put your high heels on, believe in yourself, give thanks everyday for the Sparklers who love and support you unconditionally, then you find your new path. You walk tall and you own your situation because you have to. This is not the end of your life story, just a new chapter. Sure the new road is bumpy, difficult to navigate and there are no maps to guide you through. It is isolating, scary at times and you cannot seem to gain headway or control over the chaos. You can't see the wood for the trees, but if you picture the Bat Signal, that is the best way I can describe the essence of ProMind. We serve to shine a light on where you are and through empathy, support and guidance we will help you find your way back to a smoother path. ProMind will effectively be Taupo's One Stop 'Neuro Bureau' Shop, a pro-active and passionate advocate for education and empowerment, a tireless fund raising ninja and an informal base for a wide-reaching network of relevant healthcare professionals to connect on a regular basis, pool information, share resources and most importantly address the needs of the people in our community right here at home.
