UPDATE- the original owner has been found. He is no longer available

🐈♥️🐈 Meet Basil♥️🐈♥️🐈 He is a beautiful Seal-Point Ragdoll, 2-3 years old, who was rescued from the streets of Tokoroa. He is amazingly friendly for an ex-street cat. He loves human attention, especially pats and brushes! Thank goodness, as this long-haired beauty needs brushing every day. He will also need to be the only cat in the household, as other cats stress him out.

Come and visit him at Care cattery, 34 Nukuhau St, Taupo. Volunteers are available on Saturday 10am -2pm and Sunday 10am -1pm for any queries and to help facilitate a meeting for would-be adopters 😊

Show your support and come down to join us between 10am -2pm. If you are interested in helping us out by volunteering in the cattery or op shop we can chat to you about that. We will also have some cat-themed clothes, cat collars (brand new) and a few other cat-themed goodies that you can purchase (exact cash only, no change given) The money will go towards looking after and desexing our rescue cats 😻

🐈♥️🐈♥️ Meet Marli 🐈♥️🐈♥️ She is about 9 months old. Despite her rough start in life, she is now a smoochy girl, looking for her forever home. She would be better suited to a home with no young children and no other cats, but could be ok with one other easy-going cat.

♥️🐈♥️🐈 Meet Sedona. He is approximately 4years old. He is our long-term resident at the cattery and he is desperate for a lap to call his own! He loves being patted and brushed. He will purr and give you head butts. He needs to be the only cat and he needs to be inside only, for medical reasons (see attached flyer), but he has buckets of love to give and is looking for some in return ♥️🐈♥️🐈

😻♥️😻♥️UPDATE- this little cutie has been adopted ♥️😻♥️😻

💓💓 Meet Ebony💓💓 He is about 14weeks old. He is a lovely, playful kitten. He is a bit shy to start with, so a quieter home will suit him better, but when he gets used to new places and people he becomes boisterous and outgoing (so not adviseable with young children). He likes getting patted by people he trusts. Being a long-haired kitten, he will need to be brushed everyday. He has a silver undercoat under his glossy black topcoat. You can see it especially where he has been shaved on his neck, where the poor baby had a gash and needed stitches when we rescued him. This poor little guy has been through the wars and just needs someone to love him now 😻 He has recovered well and is now looking for his forever home.

You can visit him on Saturday 10am -2pm or Sunday 10am -1pm. He is in CARE cattery, upstairs from the Op Shop at 34 Nukuhau St, Taupo

❤️❤️UPDATE- this little heart-breaker has now been adopted. Thank you all for your interest. He will be going to his forever home tomorrow 🎉🎉❤️❤️

❤️😻❤️😻 Meet Toothless 😻❤️😻❤️ He is about 14 weeks old, and as you can see from one of the photos, he is anything but toothless. Named for the dragon in the movie "How to Train Your Dragon", he is a gorgeous boy with a high-pitched voice, who asks politely for affection, once he gets past his initial shyness. Then he is all cuddles and snuggles, and loves to climb up to your shoulder, with a magnificent purr to boot!

If you would like to meet him, with a view to adopting, we have volunteers on-site on Saturday 10am -2pm and Saturday 10am -1pm

😻♥️😻♥️UPDATE- We are very happy to announce that Storm has been adopted and is very happy at his new furever home. Thank you to everyone who donated or helped look after him on his road to recovery 😻♥️😻♥️

❤️❤️Welcome to our newest arrival in the cattery - our famous boy, Storm❤️❤️
He is the smoochiest boy ever, despite all of the trauma he has endured! He loves pats and cuddles. He is even clever enough to jump up for a pat 😍. He is now looking for his forever home. If you would like to meet him, we have volunteers here on Saturday 10-2pm and Sunday 10-1pm
