Our health promotion team had the pleasure of presenting a Puberty & Periods Growing Up Guide to Waipahihi tamariki and whānau last month. We talked about all things puberty! Some of the topics included understanding the female reproductive system, ngā wāhanga of reproduction, the menstrual cycle, how hormones can influence our feelings, and how to manage periods as something to celebrate — not a curse. Ngā mihi for having us, it was such a special evening.

Thank you for getting amongst Youth Week 2026 and helping make it such an awesome week, we loved celebrating and having fun with you all!

Last Friday was a special day for us at Anamata, we came together for a pōwhiri to welcome Mel Rameka as our newly appointed CEO.
