🚴 Looking for a great training ride before Taupō?

Organised by Rotary District 9920 - Auckland and the Pacific Islands, it could be an excellent opportunity for cyclists in our district who are preparing for the Taupō Cycle Challenge.

The Counties Classic Cycle Race is one of the final public cycling events before Taupō and is regularly used by riders as a training event ahead of the big day. Whether you're looking to test your fitness, fine-tune your race preparation, or simply enjoy a well-organised cycling event, this could be a great option.

Check out the event details and consider adding it to your training calendar. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

We might have just lost an hour, but look at what we’ve gained:

😎 Longer evenings for training
🌄 More time outside doing what we love
☀️ Warmer days on the way
🚲 Less than 9 weeks until the 2026 Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge

Sounds like a pretty good trade to us! 🙌🏼
