Friday 15th May, Taumarunui Community Kōkiri staff came together to support the Pink Shirt Day kaupapa, Anti bullying.
Spending time connecting through shared kōrero, positive reflection, and team activities. One of the highlights of the day was an uplifting affirmation activity, where staff acknowledged and celebrated the strengths and qualities they value in one another. We wrapped up the day with a fun quiz, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere while reinforcing the importance of kindness, inclusion, and standing together against bullying.
Pink Shirt Day is a reminder of the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to be themselves.
