He mihi nui ki a Christine Turu

There’s something special about hearing a waiata fill the room.

Today we’re sharing this moment of Christine Turu leading us in song. Christine has recently joined our Mental Health & Addictions team, and already she is bringing warmth, strength and wairua into our spaces.

Waiata has a way of grounding us, connecting us, and reminding us who we are and who we stand for. It brings people together — and that’s exactly what our mahi is about.

We are grateful to have Christine on board, sharing not only her professional skills but also her heart, her culture and her voice.

Nau mai, haere mai Christine. We’re proud to have you walking alongside our whānau.

🌿 Nau mai, haere mai Danni and Christine! 🌿

We are pleased to welcome two new kaimahi to the Kokiri Trust whānau.

✨ Christine Turu joins our Mental Health & Addictions team, bringing her skills and heart to support whānau on their wellbeing journeys.

✨ Danni Vaipo joins our Mātua Atawhai (Family Start) team, working alongside whānau and pēpi to strengthen foundations in those early years.

Both wāhine bring passion, commitment and lived understanding to their roles. Their mahi will make a real difference in our community, and we are grateful to have them on board.

If you see them around our spaces, please make them feel welcome.

1996 Ramari Maipi centre worked for Raukura Hauora, Ramari and her team would come to Taumarunui and support our womens health kaupapa Te Wharetangata me nga uu. They were ground breaking days for Maori Health.
Ramari and mysel Kui Ani Henry and Isobel Roderick were members of the Raukura Hauora Iwi Advisory Board back there.
It was absolutely awesome for Mihirawhiti Searanke friend whanaunga and I to attend her 80th birthday 🎂
