To develop self esteem, and increased ability for adults and children of all ages to overcome physical/mental difficulties and social challenges.

Sentient Clan Services in collaboration with Golden Bay RDA offers Equine Assisted Coaching sessions in Golden Bay for those aged 10+.
Equine Assisted Coaching (EAC) involves setting up activities on the ground involving horses which require the client to apply certain skills such as non-verbal communication, assertiveness, creative thinking, problem-solving, and leadership. EAC provides a unique opportunity to practice new tools which leads to an increased ability to overcome problematic behaviours, take responsibility and to operate successfully in teams and relationships.

EAC is a powerful and effective therapeutic approach that has an incredible impact on individuals and groups, young people, and

No horse experience is required and sessions are approx 1hour long.

Karen your lead coach, is a certified and registered Youth Worker and currently the only member of the International Animals Helping Humans Association (international body for animal assisted therapy)in New Zealand.
