Important notice let you know that our band at present is meeting at the Skinner Hall at the Show Grounds on Flint road. We have been looking to find a new home from the start of the year due to the owner of the Mary Alice Chapel Hall having other plans for the building.

As usual, ANZAC has kept us very busy. The day before, one of our members helped Matapu preschool commemorate ANZAC by piping for them.
ANZAC Day itself found the band split between Dawn Parades in Opunake, Inglewood and Stratford. Following those parades, members were also involved in parades in Eltham, Kaponga and Rawhitiroa, as well as the lone piper at the Eltham Cemetery, and another member piping at the ceremony at a retirement village in Bell Block.
Our thoughts are with all around our beautiful country who joined in acknowledging the past and with hopes for a peaceful future.❤️

March 28th: Many thanks to Ron and Judy Coleman for taking amazing photos of The Relay for Life held in Inglewood and for sending us photos of our Stratford Pipe Band.
It was a pleasure along with members of the New Plymouth Caledonian Pipe Band, to support this special event.

In regards to the NZPBA National Championships held last week, 20-21st March :
On behalf of the Stratford Pipe Band:

A HUGE THANKYOU to Inglewood for hosting such a special and spectacular event. You did yourselves proud. Inglewood looked amazing too.
The huge thanks has to extend to all those involved in the planning and ex*****on of those plans... for months of time put into all the details which needed to be worked out...
To all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to prepare and set up and clear the grounds; for those who provided security and traffic control, first aiders and those providing for the needs of judges, officials and guest bands ; for those involved in the incredible array of quality merchandise provided ; for all the sponsors, whose contributions are very much appreciated... a heartfelt thanks.
To all the bands, including our own, who put so much time and effort to come here and compete at this event. A tremendous effort.. you all did youselves proud. Without competitors there would be no event!
There are so many people who deserve a big 'thankyou' , but I cannot name you all for fear of missing someone out.. but you know who you are ... so..a HUGE THANKYOU Everyone.
Our Best Wishes for all future events, especially for Tauranga in hosting next year's NZPBA National Contest .
