Hey everyone, I apologise that this has taken far too long to post, but as mentioned in the video, I had a few things going on over the past month.
So here is my race report for the Kathmandu Coast to Coast
It was certainly an adventure and had it's challenges, but with everyone's support and the motivation to help even just one person and family through raising funds for the Nelson Tasman Hospice, it kept me moving forward.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, we managed to raise $5,855

Well what can I say other than I finished one of the toughest races of my life.
I will do a full report in another post, but just want to thank each and everyone one of you who has supported me in preparation and also the amazing donations for the Nelson Tasman Hospice

So they say just getting to the start line is the biggest challenge, and they're not wrong.
I unfortunately suffered a grade 1 tear in my calf 3 weeks ago and have been doing all I can to rest and rehabilitate it, as the stubborn bu**er I am will not let it stop me competing next week.
My physio Suze at The Sports Clinic and my Chiropractor Olivia at Inner Strength Health & Performance have been amazing in treating me.
Tonight was my first trial run/walk and all felt good.
I beat cancer, I will not let this beat me in finishing the Kathmandu Coast to Coast

What an amazing day I had with Topsport Kayaking yesterday, on their 58km guided trip down the Waimak in preparation for the Kathmandu Coast to Coast
Lot's learnt and confidence built for the kayak stage.
Now I just need to put it all together in just 19 days time.
