Bike Hub make over

Anyone who visited Bike Hub recently may have noticed the tired, worn and dodgy carpet we've been mechanicing on. It had holes, rips and was more thread than carpet in places.

We were really fortunate to get hold of some pre-loved carpet squares that were no longer required in an office space. Motueka & Nelson Bays Flooring Xtra kindly offered to professionally lay them for us and this great team of guys donated their time last weekend to do just that.

We now have ‘new to us’ carpet throughout our showroom, workshop and storeroom. We're so happy with the results and can't wait for our community to see how flash Bike Hub is looking.

Thanks Freeman Roofing!
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Freeman Roofing for generously donating a load of corrugated iron so we could reclad one of our walls. Our super volunteers, Graeme and Greg, kindly donated their time to complete the upgrade, and we're delighted with the result.
Our precious donated bikes are now not only secure but also much better protected from the elements.
Thanks to Kadie and the whole Freeman Roofing team for your thoughtfulness and generosity. We're incredibly grateful for your support.

Rolling to Freedom - Trike Power!

Balance was tricky for Kristýna back in 2022, so a trike seemed like a great option. She visited Bike Hub with her Mum to see if we could help.

Around the same time, a generous person donated their trike to Bike Hub. The trike and Kristýna met and the two rode away together, Kristýna delighted with her super set of wheels and new found freedom.

Through determination and a lot of hard work, Kristýna learned to ride a 2 wheel bike. No longer in need of the trike, she passed it on.

Following a recent community call for trikes, that same trike found its way back to Bike Hub. Our mechanics gave it a service and check, and it was ready to head out for another adventure. We delivered it to Maitai School where it will be enjoyed by a variety of tamariki.

I wonder how many more people will experience the freedom of riding thanks to this little trike?

A huge thanks to everyone who built, donated, serviced and cared for this little trike. It's so cool that it is still blessing people with enjoyment, independence and a real sense of freedom.

Torpedo7 Tag Along Bike

We have this super Torpedo7 Tag Along Bike that we would like to rehome for a monetary donation. It is in great condition, has a 20" wheel, and has been checked over by our mechanics.

We have so many bikes ready for rehoming! We have large ones, small ones, and everything in between. This is thanks to all the hard work of our super mechanic team, and to everyone who has donated their no longer needed bikes.

We've had loads of interest already and have added everyone's names to a list in case it doesn't go to the first person.
