Extremely proud to see that local business Fish to Fish is going to be featured on the next episode of Hyundai Country Calendar! They’ve been providing locally sourced seafood while creating jobs and supporting local talent here in Northland for years.

Started the morning with a quick visit to one of my favourite local cafes, The Walton Street Cafe 🌴I’ve also got my own little “Jodie special” here which is a hot chocolate and sandwich made exactly how I like it every time. Highly recommend! 🩵

Burger Max -Where Quality & Value meet
📍84 Cameron Street, Whangārei

Burger Max has opened a second location in Whangārei and this time they’re bringing the business into the C*D! They are officially open (currently in soft opening) so serving in the evenings from 5:30pm onwards.

They’re well known for their burgers, loaded fries, shakes and other takeaway favourites with plenty to choose from whether you’re just grabbing a quick lunch, dinner or something after a night out. I tried the Double Onion Burger with fries and a chocolate thick shake while visiting today. The burger was juicy and packed with flavour, the fries were crispy but soft inside and the thickshake was really good. The portions were also generous too, so I can definitely agree with their slogan!

It’s honestly great to see more businesses opening recently and giving people more of a reason to come into town. I encourage you that if you see a new business open and are in a position to do so to please give them a go, tell your friends and follow their pages ❤️
