The One Basket Many Strands art exhibition has opened at The Arts Village on the corner of Hinemoa and Hinemaru Streets. It is organised by the Bahá'i community and the artists are between 8 and 80 years of age. The art is in two and three dimensions; and there is a strong theme of whanau bonds beyond blood. This resonates with the migrant community, having to rebuild relationships in Rotorua after leaving blood relatives behind in their home countries.

Do go and have a look, to read about the artists and their interpretation of Peace, Love and Family.
