Aunty Deb's Place supports and complements parents visions to help their children -
Gain confidence and develop their self-esteem
Develop a sense of identity and celebrate individuality
Encourage and foster healthy friendships
Overcome challenges and seek opportunities
Develop wellbeing, gratitude and mindfulness practices
Aunty Deb's Place co-ordinates and delivers fun, interactive activities and workshops that are run online or in person. Aunty Deb is Mum to an adult daughter and an Aunty to near a dozen nieces and nephews, a Great Aunty to ten and a Godmother to six, but the endearing term has been bestowed many more times over from other friends and family. Debbie has volunteered with GirlGuiding NZ for almost 20 years, has previously been a Special Needs Teacher Aid and has more recently undertaken study and coaching in the area of self development and wellbeing. She is a Girl Power Instructor, holds a Sport NZ Child Protection Certificate and is currently doing a children's Yoga and Meditation Course. Debbie is passionate about working alongside young children, helping them to have fun whilst providing opportunities to build confidence and allow for their individuality, personal development, altruism and leadership to shine through.
