Kia ora! We’re thrilled to kick off our Tāne Wānanga for the year "Tāne Taikākā"

We started the year with a warm whakatau, a delicious steamed hāngi, and an adventurous raft/swim down the Ōhau Channel. A perfect start to a journey of connection, learning, and growth.

Tāne Taikākā is a kaupapa Māori wānanga helping tāne reconnect with their identity, build wellbeing, and break cycles of trauma. Through cultural learning, reflection, and peer support, participants grow stronger, set positive goals, and become resilient partners, fathers, and leaders in their whānau and communities
