Anthony said they had a great time helping our Team plucking out tiny 'Wild Cherry' seedlings along the Ngongotaha Awa.

Some of the more energetic of their team walked on a little further and cleared that area of the Stream.

Tamariki was also a part of the group, and everyone thought the Ngongotaha Stream walk was a really lovely place to visit.

Thank you so much Anthony for your help and we hope to see you again this coming year, in the first weekend of the October School Holidays.

For those of you that are planning a project for this time of the year, keep our visiting crew in mind. I can contact Anthony to see if he is coming this way in 2027.

This post always begins with the invite to say "what is on my mind?".... Presently I am swamped with Grant Applications plus a Report to cover previous funds spent, all of this to support Progress Ngongotaha Kokiri Ngongotaha Inc. to continue its work in the Community.

I prefer to be talking with people in our community, even if it is over this page. If you like something that is happening in Ngongotaha please let us know, lets us Celebrate the Good things that are happening !!!

The other day my friend was trying to lift a pack of Silage into the back of my car (with my permission). Someone saw that he needed a hand and turned his car around and stepped up to us and said " I just drove past and saw that you could need some help and I turned my car around to come to help you.
It was as 'good as it gets' words cannot express the gratitude felt and the RELIEF to have the help that was sooooo needed. Thank you so much !!

We have some awesome people living in our Village !! There must be others of you who have experienced something that just ....I cannot express it. So here is your opportunity to share your stories with all of us. Share this with your contacts too please ?

Kia ora Koutou,
One of our recent posts was asking if there are any other safety concerns that you may have....Well I have one myself and it would be good to discuss the following to see if we can manage this and lessen it in our Community. So, What Is It?

I was in my car at the small roundabout on School Road. St Barnabas Close is opposite with the School up ahead. A Car was driven at such speed approaching the roundabout from the 4 Square direction.....it shot through the roundabout and straight up Hall Road past the St Barnabas Close.
Clue: White Car/ute vehicle

Is this a 'one off?' Have any Hall Road residents witnessed this? Have any of you already reported this Dangerous Behaviour....it was really Dangerous.
