Remember that massive geomagnetic storm that took over everyone's lives for 24 hours back in May? And then, everyones social media for some time after that? MACRO WORKSHOP: 2 spaces available!

As we had to postpone last weekend's macro workshop with Grant Beedie due to the weather, we have had two spaces open up. The workshop is tomorrow Saturday 29 July from 9am till 11:30am at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Cost is just $20 (payable by online banking). POSTPONED: Macro Photography Workshop.
NEW DATE: Saturday 29 July at 9am.
All ticket-holders have been notified by email.

We have made the call to postpone tomorrow morning's macro workshop with wind and rain looking increasingly likely throughout the day tomorrow. Grant's looking forward to seeing you next weekend but if you can't make it, please get in touch with us.

Workshop No. 1 has just wrapped up. Our group of photographers assembled under overcast skies at 4am this morning, cameras and tripods at the ready, for a pre-dawn astrophotography shoot on the shores of Te Waihora. Almost right on cue, the gaps in the clouds started to appear eventually leaving nearly clear skies and lovely views of Matariki perfectly positioned with the slender crescent Moon. A great morning with an enthusiastic group - thanks so much for coming along and enjoying photography with us!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for an exhibition! Our official opening is tonight and members of the public can view the exhibition from Saturday 15 July till Tuesday 25 July giving you plenty of time to come and enjoy a wide range of printed photographic artworks from over 30 local photographers! Exhibition is open during normal opening hours at Te Ara Ātea, Rolleston. Don't forget to come along to one of our free talks or join in a workshop for some practical photo skills.
