Thank you and farewell to longtime NAWLF Trustee Merle Moffitt,(second from r.). As a Trustee of the Fund, Merle has been a compassionate supporter of women's economic empowerment, particularly for those struggling to overcome challenging life circumstances. She has been the heart and soul (not to mention the institutional memory) of the Fund for many years and truly will be missed!

Congratulations to Edina Vig who has received a loan from the NAWLF to support her home-based health and skincare business. Here's what Edina has to say about her work and receiving support from the Fund:

I was always committed to natural skincare, so I became a Dr Hauschka cosmetician in my home country, Hungary, and it changed my approach to skincare. When my family and I moved to New Zealand, I looked for a local product range for my facials, as a cosmetician setting up my business. I tried and tested a wide range of different skincare products, and finally met with the highly concentrated and organic Janesce range, which had a very similar approach and passion then Dr Hauschka.

I am so grateful to have received the loan, because it helped me to buy the first product stock and promote my business. Since then in my lovely home studio at Wellington street, I offer organic facial treatments combined with various massages for complete relaxation, beautiful skin rejuvenation and correction from pre-teens to mature ages.
