• That everyone has access to the services, facilities and amenities that they
need, without having to travel long distances.
• That people have access to timely and relevant information, particularly issues that will affect their lives: eg social, economic and environmental policy changes, particularly regarding welfare programmes and governmen

t policies; local government policy and planning changes and provision of services, eg water and sewerage; and local community events.
• Our communities have shared understandings about their history based on Te Tiriti o Waitangi / Te Whakaputanga and can live peacefully together. Our mission is provide a Community Centre that gives provides access to and “choice” of wellness and wellbeing services and initiatives, that community deem important.
