Hasn't our district changed in the last 30 years. This is the entrance to the rally grounds off Raumati Road, taken in 1990.

This photo features Kāpiti Pony Club patron Jean Bright – a lifelong equestrian advocate on the Kāpiti Coast. She lived to 89 and was widely known as a true keeper of our local horse-riding history.

Love a good Kāpiti story? There are plenty more to uncover in our Local History Collection ✨

🥳🤠🐴 Who's getting excited!! 🥳🤠🐴

The Kapiti Pony Club gymkhana will be held on Sunday 27th September at Waikanae Park.

All are welcome - toddlers to grannies!

The morning session will be flat classes and games, with jumping (poles through to 90cm) in the afternoon. Come along for all, or just the morning, or just the afternoon. This is a low key event designed to be fun.

The programme will be out later this week 😁

The Wairarapa Wellington Regional Jumping Circuit is growing, with new clubs joining our region and two additional shows now added to the circuit! 🎉

We’re looking for local businesses to come on board as sponsors — a great opportunity for excellent exposure while supporting local riders, clubs and equestrian sport.

Check out the flyer below for more details. 👇
