Have you got something that needs repairing? Come to the Raumati South Repair Cafe this Sunday and our team of volunteers will try to fix it or give you advise.

From 10am to 1pm, our volunteers can help with sewing, electrical repairs, bicycle maintenance, garden tool sharpening, and other fixes. We also have volunteers who can do basic sewing machine fixes and pottery repairs.

Come along, have a cuppa and a piece of cake and give your stuff the chance of another life! Please arrive before 12:30pm so our volunteers have time to look at your item.

Free to attend, with koha welcome. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!!

We're excited to let you know the wonderful Laura has joined our volunteers and is able to help you with basic sewing machine repairs or give you advice. If your machine has been sitting in a cupboard gathering dust, this could be the perfect chance to get it checked out and back in action.

Join us at the Raumati South Repair Café on Saturday, 21 June, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Raumati South Memorial Hall on Tennis Court Road.

Along with sewing machine help, our volunteers can assist with sewing repairs, pottery repairs, electrical repairs, bicycle maintenance, garden tool sharpening and more.

Bring along your broken or well-loved items, learn a few repair skills, enjoy some great food, and help keep useful things out of landfill. Please arrive before 12:30 PM to check in any items.

Free to attend, with koha welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!

It looks like another rainy day tomorrow. Escape the wet weather and pop into the Raumati South Repair Cafe - 19 April. Bring along your broken, worn, or blunt items and our lovely volunteers will do their best to help bring them back to life — from mending and sharpening to troubleshooting and repairs.

We offer repairs for:

🏺 Pottery Repair (NEW!)
💻 IT troubleshooting
🚲 Bicycle maintenance
🌿 Garden tool & knife sharpening

While you’re there, grab a cuppa from our little café, which will be fundraising for Home4All, a wonderful charity creating opportunities for people living with dementia to connect, stay active and feel part of a community.

This Sunday is your chance.

The Raumati South Repair Café is back, and our wonderful volunteers are ready to help bring your well-loved items back to life. From sharpening blunt knives to mending clothes, fixing electrical items, and even repairing broken pottery, there’s a good chance we can help - or at least point you in the right direction.

It’s not just about fixing things. It’s about learning a little, meeting neighbours over a cappa and a slice of cake - and keeping good stuff out of landfill.

Our volunteers are excited to get stuck in repairing your broken items at the next Raumati South Repair Cafe - 19 April at the Raumati South Memorial Hall at Tennis Court Road! We will be there from 10am to 1pm.

As always, they’ll be on hand to help with sewing, electrical repairs, bicycle maintenance, garden tool sharpening and more.

We’re also thrilled to welcome local potter , who will be offering pottery repairs — fixing cracks, chips, and carefully bringing broken pieces back together.

Got something broken, wobbly, torn or refusing to turn on? Bring it along and our wonderful volunteer fixers will do their best to help repair it – or at least point you in the right direction.

Repair Cafés are all about:
✨ fixing instead of chucking
✨ learning new skills
✨ sharing a cuppa and a chat
✨ reducing waste and saving money
