Clarkville School Gala

What a fantastic day at the Tug of War between Police, Fire, and Ambulance! 💪☀️

Facing some tough competitors, Team Green worked brilliantly and represented HHSJ with pride 👏

Great atmosphere, a strong sense of community, and plenty of hard-fought pulls—

Well done and many thanks to the Emergency Ambulance Service and the Waimakariri Area Committee.

Great day out at the Markham Street Festival in Amberley.

The event transformed the historic Markham Street into a vibrant pedestrian party. It was wonderful to see so many locals come together to enjoy live music, artisans and food vendors.

A big thank you to all the HHSJ volunteers who made the day possible. Your time and effort helped create a welcoming and successful event for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you at the next community event!

A massive thank you to everyone who took part in Toot for Tucker in Amberley.

What an incredible effort — 90 banana boxes collected and delivered across our three Hurunui food banks!

Your teamwork made the entire evening run smoothly, and the feedback from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.

We had such a lovely time at the One Hato Hone St John mid-Christmas gathering for our North Canterbury HHSJ members.

The meal at CBK in Kaiapoi was fantastic—everyone raved about the 12-hour roasted brisket, and I can see why! If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely worth checking out!

It was wonderful to reconnect with old friends, and it was great to see such a good turnout from nearly all of our HHSJ business units. We made sure our road staff didn’t miss out on the fun by delivering meals to Rangiora Ambulance Station.

All in all, it was a heartwarming gathering.

Pop in to the St John - Rangiora Store - they are open today. Thank you for the support.

Shocktober launches next month with two FREE CPR training sessions at Mainpower Amberley Pool on October 2nd.

This Hato Hone St John programme is designed to give you and your loved ones the confidence to take action if someone suffers cardiac arrest.

No booking is necessary for either the 11am or 6pm session. It's also a great way to check out the covered heated pool ahead of the official opening at the end of October.

The 11am session will be attended by Mayor Marie Black and Councillors Fiona Harris and Pauline White, with Councillor White also attending the 6pm session.
