Rakaia Community Pool

Hello everyone, apologies for the delay in key deposit returns. We needed to reregister as a society and we couldn't use our bank account during that process. We have that sorted now and we hope to start the returns next week 😊 thank you for your patience.

Let your dogs play and enjoy a sausage sizzle or bacon buttie for our end of season fundraiser. This coming Easter Monday at Rakaia community pool!

Also a fantastic time to return your pool key and arrange the return of your deposit (the pool will greatly appreciate the deposit as a donation if you do not wish this back)

That’s a wrap for the season! ☀️

The pool will officially close for swimming at the end of the day on Sunday 5th April.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this season so special — from our amazing volunteers, to all the families, kids, and community members who came along, supported events, and made the pool such a fun and vibrant place to be 💙

We’ve loved seeing so many smiles, splashes, and great memories being made!

Enjoy the cooler months ahead, and we look forward to welcoming you all back next season! 🌊

After today the pool will only be open for key holders - you’re still welcome to come along with a key holder but our supervisor will be finishing up after today.

We are uncertain how long the pool will stay open for but we are hoping a couple more weeks atleast 🤞this is all weather dependent.
