While our native seedlings are are all tucked under the shade cloth at the nursery for winter, that doesn't mean you need to wait until spring for the next volunteer planting day to muck in. You are welcome to pop in anytime, hang out with plants (it's actually quite therapeutic), pull out a w**d or two or transfer plants into individual pots from the multi-cell trays. Or do get in touch if keen to meet up and see what else you can do to help. W**d maintenance of the planted trees is also a never ending job. Even stomping the grass around the plant guards or pulling out some grass from inside the guards is a big help 😊
