Want to learn how to resolve conflict?

This month's Community Networks Franklin meeting is a departure from our usual format and takes the form of a free LEAD workshop on Conflict Resolution.

It's a chance to equip yourself and your organisation with tools to navigate and resolve conflicts effectively, fostering collaboration, productivity and a positive culture.

It will begin at 9.30am, earlier than our usual start time, and finish at 12.30pm.

Some of you have already registered for the workshop but the invitation to attend is still open to others who have not. If you'd like to register, please do so here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1iWcjaJZGfLiEVoZ4hhudcwM0dNZXt-EVKtPzMhYSFNg/edit

This workshop is provided by LEAD and is supported by Franklin Local Board.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Want to recycle your old laptop, phone or digital camera??
Drop it off at The Little Green Expo this Saturday.
Echo, New Zealand’s largest e-waste recycling company, loves re-using and re-purposing old tech. It’s on a mission to provide sustainable ways to do that.
It’s bringing a couple of bins to the expo so Pukekohe locals can do the right thing and recycle their smaller items of old tech. Come along and drop it off AT NO COST.
See the image for the range of tech that can go into the bins – and what can’t!
The Little Green Expo is on Saturday 7 March 10am-2pm at Pukekohe Anglican Church Complex, corner Queen and Wesley Streets. Entry is free.

A powerhouse of environmental education is coming to the Little Green Expo!
Lots of the region’s schoolkids will know the Tread Lightly e-van – now it’s a chance for the adults to find out about this mobile learning space that helps them understand how everyday choices affect the environment.
It has hands-on activities showing how to cut down waste, sort recycling and make simple changes that protect our local environment. Visitors get to explore how landfills work, what can be reused or repurposed, and how small shifts at home can reduce our impact.
See the Tread Lightly team at The Little Green Expo, Saturday 7 March, 10am-2pm at 43 Queen St, Pukekohe.
The annual sustainability expo features workshops, exhibitors, presentations, market stalls and children’s activities like facepainting and a bouncy castle. ENTRY IS FREE.

SUSTAINABLE MARKET STALLS
Our little sustainable market is back at The Little Green Expo again this year!
Making a welcome return are the children of Mauku School with their very popular worm tea and other sustainability initiatives like beeswax wraps.
Mary’s bringing back her repurposed jewellery range and the knitwear created using donated wool which were so popular last year.
Also back is Miriama and her Creative Tutu stall. She gives old china and other items a new lease on life - there’s no limit to her imagination.
Sue’s homemade skincare range, Malia Skincare, and Lily’s Beeswax products, including wraps that replace clingfilm, will also be there.
New to the market is Wilma who’ll be sharing her corrugated paintings featuring poppies, sunflowers and birds.
All very different products but all excellent examples of sustainable initiatives or how to reuse, recycle or upcycle. Come along and see the market stalls at the Little Green Expo on Saturday, 7 March 10am-2pm at the Pukekohe Anglican Church complex, 43 Queen St.
ENTRY IS FREE!
