A Huge Thank You from Pukehina Surf Rescue!

What an incredible day we had at this year’s Street Party! After a few days of rain, we were lucky to have the skies clear just in time, setting the scene for a fantastic community event.

A huge shoutout to Laughton Kora and Pow Wow for bringing the vibes (and the dancing!)—you absolutely made our day.

We are so grateful to our amazing army of volunteers who helped across every part of the event. From set up to pack down, bar, gate, food and everything in between, this day simply wouldn’t happen without you. A special thank you to our dedicated Events Committee for all the hard work behind the scenes.

The circus was a real highlight, keeping the kids entertained and adding something special for our younger crowd.

Finally, a big thank you to our sponsors. As local businesses supporting us, we encourage everyone to support them in return, they help make everything we do possible.

WE’RE ON, PUKEHINA! 🔥🌤️

Yeah the weather’s been a bit rough this week… but we’re full steam ahead, and tomorrow is shaping up to clear! 🙌

We've got live music, epic food trucks, cold drinks, raffles, auctions and good vibes all day long! So grab your crew, bring the whānau, and get ready for a massive day out supporting your local surf club 💛

A couple of reminders:
🚧 The road will be closed from the jetty up to the club from 8.30am
🍷 Bring a drinking vessel if you're hitting the vinos or the bubbles!
🪑 Bring a chair if you want to sit down

🎪 Circus fun for the kids!

We’ve got something special lined up for the little ones at the Pukehina Surf Rescue Street Party.

From 4.30pm to 6.30pm, the amazing team from Circus In A Flash will be running a hands-on circus experience for kids. Think juggling, balancing tricks, circus skills and plenty of laughs as the kids get to have a go themselves.

It’s colourful, energetic, and a whole lot of fun, perfect for curious kids who want to watch and even try something a little different.

Bring the tamariki along and let them run away with the circus (for a couple of hours at least).
