** The Settlers' Market/Port Albert Hall Mothers Day Raffle **

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support of our Mother’s Day Raffle. With your help, we were able to raise a fantastic amount of money—something we truly appreciate. All of our raffle money and market money raised will help do much-needed repairs and maintenance to our hall, and soon our first project, 'The Toilet area upgrade' will be underway in time for the return of our markets in spring!

The raffle was drawn on 5th May at 2.30 pm, and we are delighted to announce that our lucky winner was Mitch Martin from Hammer Hardware, who has now received his prize.

Mitch is a regular and valued supporter of both our market and the hall in so many ways, and we are thrilled to see the prize go to someone so involved in our community. Thank you, Mitch, for your support and the rest of our community who have attended the market and bought raffle tickets along the way.

The Settlers' Market - April Final Update

Not long to go now until we open the doors for the final Settlers’ Market of the season!

The weather may not be playing its part, but never mind — we’ll have everyone warm, dry, and comfortably under cover inside.

Jenny’s Kitchen will be ready with plenty of delicious treats, so come along and spoil yourself.

For our keen gardeners, we’re delighted to welcome back Val with her wonderful selection of plants, alongside the Wellsford Horticulture Club bringing along a few more treasures. Jenny will also have her charming birdhouses and wheelbarrows — perfect for adding that special touch to your garden.

Desiree will be there with her beautiful, healing kawakawa balms — just the thing after a long day outdoors.

If you enjoy a good browse, Gordon & Edie and Carolyn will have plenty of bric-a-brac to explore. And adding a touch of elegance, Jade returns with her stunning photography — ideal for weddings, gifts, or capturing that special animal in your life.

Come along, stay a while, and help us wrap up the season in true Settlers’ Market style. See you at 9 am.

You might want to gather the family together tomorrow, put on your Sunday best, and come along to the market.

On our stage, Olga will be setting up to do some family photos, which will be a great idea for Mother's Day!

Mother's Day Mini Sessions on Sunday, 19th April at Port Albert Hall, Settlers Market. I'm planning to have a simple white backdrop and a beautiful, fresh floral setup.

15min spot with 5 edited digital images for $150. These can be single portraits, couples, or families (up to 5 people). A beautiful and meaningful gift to your loved ones or yourself 💐🩷
Prints are also available and will be on display on the day.

A lot of our regulars will be happy to hear that LADY P IS BACK for our last market of the season ....

This Sunday I’m heading back to Port Albert Market — and it’s been a minute. Let’s just say I’ve had a little break… but Lady P is back and bringing the goods in a different spot.

I’ll have my signature scented treasures, a curated mix of bric-a-brac, and a few of those one-off pieces that somehow always end up coming home with someone special, but let’s be honest… the poppies are going to steal the show.

With ANZAC Day just around the corner, these beauties feel extra meaningful this week.

Each one carries a story, a tribute, and a little bit of heart — and they’ve been turning heads already, add to your garden, fence post or wall

We’ve certainly missed Sara at the market lately, so it’s exciting to share that Little Fox Creations will be back for our final market this Sunday!

Just take a look at these stunning pieces Sara has been creating — the detail in each one truly makes them little works of art. Whether you’re searching for a special Mother’s Day gift or simply something beautiful for yourself, these are treasures that will be cherished for years to come.

The weather may be a little damp, but nothing like last weekend’s wild conditions, so there’s no need to worry. We’ll make sure everyone — including our wonderful stallholders — is comfortably under cover if needed.

THE SETTLERS' MARKET UPDATE - April 2026

Just like black bears, grizzlies, and brown bears who settle in for a long winter’s rest, the Settlers Market will soon be heading into hibernation too!

While bears enter a deep torpor—living off their stored reserves for months without eating, drinking, or venturing out—we’ll be doing our own version of slowing down over the colder season.

So before we “hunker down,” make sure you join us this Sunday at the Settlers Market for our final market before winter. And just like bears, you will need to stock up on some 'Floral Buzz' honey to get you through til Spring!

It’s your last chance to gather some wonderful goodies, fresh finds, and amazing bargains, so come along, support our stallholders, and enjoy the atmosphere before we tuck in for the winter months.

Our wonderful team of volunteers are looking forward to seeing you all there!

He’ll be back tomorrow (Sunday 15th) with a fresh, well-stocked supply, so now’s the perfect time to top up your pantry.
