Mana Music Centre

Mana Music Centre Mana Music Centre provides music tuition for primary and intermediate aged school children. The Mana Music Centre was set up over 40 years ago.

As it is partially funded by the Ministry of Education, fees are $25 per term and instruments can be hired at $20 per term. We hold classes at Maraeroa School on Saturday mornings and at Discovery School on Wednesdays after school and Thursday (Guitar only). Most classes are available to primary/intermediate children aged 8 and over, although recorder is available to children aged 7 and over and w

e hold a music appreciation course for 5 and 6 year olds. LESSON INFO
We offer the following lessons as below:
For 5 to 6 y/o - Music Appreciation
For 7 y/o - Recorder and Ukulele
For 8 y/o - Recorder, ukulele, keyboard/piano, guitar and violin
For 9 y/o - Recorder, ukulele, keyboard/piano, guitar, violin, flute and clarinet
We only cater from Year 1 to Year 8 (between the ages of 5 to 12 years old)

Venue and Times:
Discovery School between 3:30 to 6:30 (Wednesday for Keyboard/Piano and Guitar)
Discovery School between 3:30 to 6:30 (Thursday for Guitar)
Maraeroa School from 9am to 12 (Saturday for all the lessons above)

🎶Mana Music Centre AGM – We Need You!🎶

Kia ora MMC whānau! Our Annual General Meeting is happening on Saturday, June 27 at 12:30pm in the Maraeroa School staffroom – and we’d love to see you there! A light lunch will be available from 12:15pm.

🎹Please come along and join us at the meeting. The annual committee elections will take place, and we’d love more people to be involved.

🎶Mana Music Centre is on the lookout to add to our reliable relievers' list, particularly for keyboard🎹, and particularly for Weds 3:30pm to 6:30pm at Discovery School. We're aiming to ensure we've got plenty of back up as winter and peak sickness season🤧😷 approaches.
