Refer a whānau or yourself here: bellyful.org.nz/bellyful-branches/porirua/ Our aim is to encourage whānau to accept help and support from their local community - just like our grandparents did! Parenting is hard work, so why not take all the help that’s offered? Let’s all help each other out and build a stronger community in the process. You can help us fill bellies by making a donation: bellyful.org.nz/donate-now/

This week we celebrated the hard work of our current volunteers and give out a special award along with a recap of some awards given out a few weeks ago.

2026 marks 15 years for Bellyful Porirua.
Since its humble beginnings in 2011 we have been blessed with support from our volunteers, supporters, and our community.

We have one lovely lady who is still volunteering for our branch 15 years later.
♥️Jocelyn McKenzie - Every small minute of your time shows commitment and aroha to our community. No matter how small, it matters. We appreciate you.

This month, our communities are showing up in a big way.

Macaroni March starts today.

Across Aotearoa, people are hosting macaroni dinners, running pasta drives, baking for koha and rallying their workplaces — raising the funds that keep meals going out to families doing it tough.

When life gets overwhelming, a delivered meal is more than food. It’s knowing someone cares.

👉 Donate the cost of a meal today and help fill a freezer for a whānau who needs it:
