We had a lovely morning in the Garden today planting this year's garlic. The beetroot are doing coming along and will be ready soon. We would welcome any new members to join our group on Wednesday and Saturday mornings behind St Mary's Church.

Many thanks to the lovely locals that have dropped feijoas, small potatoes, carrots and lemons into the Community Garden cupboard behind St Marys Church. There are feijoas and small potatoes in the cupboard and you are welcome to pick fresh herbs from the Garden.

I hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather. A great session this morning, we planted celery, snow peas, coriander and lettuces .If anyone wants some figs please help yourself from the tree. There are also feijoas dropping on the ground from that tree.
Fresh basil and parsley still available as well as other herbs.

Good afternoon all. There are some apples in the Community Cupboard at the garden for the community. Not great for eating but excellent for stewing. Please help yourself.

What a lovely day today after all the rain yesterday. The sunflowers are putting on a great show. Also there are spring onions and zuchinni in the cupboard today.

Hello Gardeners, we had perfect weather for our garden session today.

Thankyou to Alison Hawkes - Harcourts Real Estate our lovely sponsor, who came and helped this morning. We planted spinach, lettuce, radishes and parsley. Thankyou also Palmers Garden Centre who donating the plants we planted today.

Feel free to pick the ripe tomatoes from the plants. Also there is fresh basil in the garden to acompany the tomatoes.

Good Morning Gardeners. There are some ripe acid free tomatoes up at the Garden. Feel free to help themselves to the tomatoes, but please leave some for others.
There are also a couple of courgettes ready to cut if anyone wants to take a knife and carefully remove them.
Thankyou to the local gardener who drop their suplus produce into the community cupboard at the Garden.
