To raise money to help Eagles Wings Zambia and Eagles Wings Australia provide a life worth living to children and young people in Zambia. There are many worthy charities out in the world, aiding those in hardships that most of us can only imagine. Eagles Wings has a place in our hearts. Our intrepid traveler Marina has witnessed first-hand the good work Eagles Wings have done in Zambia, the conditions many of those in suffering are found in and how easy it can be to be forgotten in a country of many. Now imagine this is a child that is suffering, a child that has been forgotten. This is a child that can be saved. With the help of donations and fundraising we aim to provide something tangible in the support of fighting child poverty. The South Island challenge. To show how serious we are, we have decided to join the Australian contingent of Challenge for Change and bike from Christchurch to Milford sound in the beautiful south island of New Zealand. This ride will be 1000km and will be completed over 7 days. Each New Zealand rider will be expected to raise $3000 that will be gifted to Eagles Wings. Each rider will also have to find and fund their own way to and from the South Island challenge. That means, nearly 100% (minus any government regulation costs) will go to Eagles Wings.
