About Us: Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols is a community organisation committed to enhancing safety in our neighbourhoods. We work closely with local law enforcement, community leaders, and residents to create a safer environment for everyone.

Volunteer Roles:

Patrol Members: Be the eyes and ears of our community! Join our patrols, observe and report any suspicious activity, and help keep our streets safe.
Community Engagement: Connect with fellow residents, organise events, and promote safety awareness within our community, through activities like Safer Plates and to monitor AED devices in the community.
Administration and Logistics: Assist with scheduling, communication, and coordination.

Wellington Police are trying to locate the owner of a Taiaha head (broken from the handle, which was handed in to Police December 2024.

Efforts to find the owner have been unsuccessful so far.

If you, a family member, or friend believe this is yours, please visit the Wellington Central Station font counter or call 105 referencing file number 241209/8104.
