A brother taken too early...
Dear Brethren,

This email was been sent to all brethren in the Kapiti-Wellington and Hutt Wairarapa Districts.

It is with deep sadness that I email to advise that our Brother, Scott (Scotty) McCoy has recently passed to the Grand Lodge above.

Although Scotty’s variable health has prevented him from attending Lodge for the past couple of years he will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving and caring Mason. He was a member of St Andrews Lodge No. 32.

I will be the celebrant at Scotty’s farewell service this Friday and he has specifically requested a Masonic Tribute.

If you knew Scotty or Sue and want to be a part of celebrating a great life - taken way too early the details are as follows:

Day/Date: Friday 29th August

Time: 11.00am

Venue: Wilson Funeral Chapel, 375 Adelaide Rd, Newtown

Despite looking very ’swish’ in his Masonic attire - Scotty was all about colour and cheer. If you plan on coming along and you have a bright Hawaiian shirt - don’t be afraid to wear it.

Freemasons New Zealand has 170 Lodges and 4600 members from the far north to the far south of New Zealand and nearly everywhere in between.
