Wow at the beginning of the year, I said this is going to be our best year for the market. And six months in it has not disappointed.

Today was another fantastic market. The ladies running the Pokeno Projects Positively Pokeno Cafe baked and made the most mouth watering morning tea and lunch. So yummy 😊

Outside we had a local produce grower. And the best thing is his produce will change depending on the seasons.

Carolyn had every seedling you could want to start your own garden and again her stand will change depending on the seasons.

We had Jacquire with her home made jams and relish.

We had treats for dogs as well as humans.

We also met the Pokeno Community Response Group who I am very excited to support in the conjunction with our market. After all we are all in the same community.

And we had some new stall holders who joined us for the first time today. We had amazing weather once the fog went. The kitchen was non-stop. Everyone was in really good spirits.

Overall we had 25 stall holders. So a huge thank you to everyone. We could not do this market without you.

We look forward to seeing you all again on the 12th of July. 😊

I'm thrilled to announce that the Pokeno Community Response Group will be joining us on Sunday as a stall holder at our Crafty Cows Market . This is an absolute treat to chat and understand more about what they do in an emergency or even preparing for one. So please come in, have a chat, a cuppa and maybe make a purchase or change your life even.

Ohh my, where do I start. I arrived at the hall this morning to the, smell of home baking. A couple of hours later I got to sample the amazing High Tea that was available for Mother's Day. Put on by the Pokeno Hall Committee fund raising for various Pokeno Projects.

We had a bunch of new stall holders today and they are all coming back again next month. It was so good to catch up with everyone again after last month being cancelled. A huge thank you, to Jacquire for putting signs outside before the market. Thank you very much to Janni for trialing a new table situation. A huge thank you to Nancy for doing our flyers at the drop of a hat. A huge thank you to everyone involved and for adding, sharing, and posting posts on Facebook or social media. A super huge thank you to our supporters, friends and family.

So watch this space because we will have food in the kitchen on a regular basis. 😊😊

We will return on the 14th of June 2026.
