A big thanks to Surfers NZ for putting on a great comp over the weekend. Congratulations to Poppy Arkle for winning the Open Women's and taking out the $1000 prize money. Awesome work also to Jai Wallis - 4th Open Mens, Alex Monteith - 1st Over 40 Women, Angelo Salvanda - 2nd Over 40 Men, Kyra Wallis - 1st 18 and Under Girls, Zeke Pragert - 4th 18 and Under Boys, and Lily Bradshaw - 4th in the 14 and Under Girls. Kyra also finished 2nd in the Open Women's and Poppy 3rd in the 18 and Under Girls.

We had a total of 9 finalists, but several other club members lifted their game and surfed their best ever in a competition. Thanks to everyone who came down to support.

The Tane Memorial Paddle Out is at Piha Beach tomorrow morning. Conditions will be sunny, but due to the swell, we will be in the Cove (Sth end) and those who don't wish to paddle will be able to stand at the water's edge. All Welcome, times below:
10.30am - Meet at south end and walk to Cove
11am - Words
11.15am - Paddle out and Expression Session
12 - 1.30pm - Catch up at Piha Surf Lifesaving Club
