🌟 Well done, champions! 🌟
Huge congratulations to Levi (age 9) for smashing out his very first long overnight hike on the Queen Charlotte Track — what an awesome achievement on his school holidays! 🥾🌿
A special shout‑out to his dad Jeremy, an experienced walker who’s already completed the TA North Island and is now kicking off his South Island adventure. What a legendary duo! 💪💚
So proud of Levi for taking on such a big challenge and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Here’s to many more adventures together! ✨

Summer is a great time to enjoy the Queen Charlotte Track. Whether you’re walking or biking, conditions are ideal for getting out and exploring Marlborough.

A little preparation goes a long way in making your adventure safe, comfortable, and unforgettable:
- Take extra water
- Wear sunscreen and sun protection
- Allow time to enjoy the track safely

🚨 Queen Charlotte Track Alert🚨

If you're planning to walk the Queen Charlotte Track this weekend, please be aware that a section of the track has been washed out.

📍 Affected Area: Between the head of Endeavour Inlet and the former site of Madsen’s Camp.

⚠️ We advise all users to take extra care in this area. If the weather conditions continue, this section may become impassable

🔄 Walkers will need to find their own alternative route based on their ability. Before departing, check with your tour provider to see what alternatives are available to you.

🚴‍♂️ Cyclists, especially those with e-bikes, will likely be unable to pass this section due to the terrain. Water taxi transport between Furneaux Lodge and Camp Bay/Punga Cove may be required.

✅ The track remains open, but passing through the affected section is at your own discretion.

Stay safe and plan ahead.
