♻Our latest list of RECYCLABLE ITEMS at the Picton Environment Centre!♻

Envirohub Marlborough is currently collecting the following items to divert them from landfill - so what's new?

♻Refloat Bags are not only selling their awesome goods, we are collecting old pool toys and other PVC items to be turned into their awesome bags - also for sale at the PEC!

♻Soft Plastics - if it's scrunchable, we can probably collect it! Please make sure these are CLEAN!

♻Liquid Paper Board (and other Tetrapak style) packaging - PLEASE open them right up (FLAT) and drop them off completely clean!

As always, we recommend avoiding these items altogether if you can, but when you can't this is where you can drop them to divert them from landfill and give them new life!

DID YOU KNOW? There is a small collection station in Blenheim at the Marlborough Youth Trust's MySpace - take your wine bottle caps, beer tops, can tabs and pool toys there for collection!

♻️SOFT PLASTIC RECYCLING ♻️
Now collecting at the Picton Environment Centre!

Picton - Envirohub Marlborough is now collecting your soft plastics at the Picton Environment Centre - 14 Auckland Street, Picton - open Mon-Fri from 9am to 3pm!

♻️We are collecting these on behalf of Future Post to be recycled into planter boxes and fence posts.

Refusing plastic is best, but realistically we understand that until things change, plastic is a huge part of our society. While we work to reduce the amount we consume, you can drop off your clean, scrunchable soft plastics into our collection bin at the Picton Environment Centre.

What you can and can't drop off is listed in the poster below!

WE ARE ALSO A COLLECTION STATION for:

♻️ Tetra paks and other LPB packaging
♻️ Coffee pods
♻️ Wine bottle tops & can tabs
♻️ Beer bottle caps
♻️ Old currency or foreign currency (coins included!)
♻️ Old cell phones
♻️ Silicone products
♻️ Wool packaging from food deliveries
