Kapiti Youth Support

Kapiti Youth Support KYS One Stop Shop Trust is a registered charitable trust. Our Service is available for all health concerns and issues whether physical or emotional.

KYS is a free Youth Health & Support Centre and is a safe and confidential place you can come, knowing that you will be treated with respect and care in a professional manner. Kapiti Youth Support (KYS) is a free confidential health and support service for anyone aged 10 - 24 living in Kapiti. Whether you need a chat over a cuppa, advice, supoort or treatment, we're approachable, friendly and easy to talk with... come see us! All of our doctors, nurses, mentors, social workers, coaches and counsellors are fully trained and offer professional services which are FREE of charge! If we can't help you, we'll know who can. KYS is also the Kapiti 'Youth Service' provider. 'Youth Service’ helps young people stay in or get back into education, training, or into work based learning. We want young people to have the skills to get a job that will help them have a better life. Young people aged 16-17 who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and young people applying for financial assistance or who are also NEET can work with KYS Youth Coaches to find the best pathway for them. Young parents aged 16-18 years applying for financial assistance also work with KYS. Give KYS a call and ask to speak to one of our ‘Youth Service’ Coaches. KYS provides many other support services and groups, please contact us for more information. To book an appointment:

“Our voices matter, and we deserve to be heard.” 💬✨

Last week we celebrated Youth Week by heading into our local colleges and creating spaces for rangatahi to connect, share their voices, enjoy some shared kai, and simply be themselves.

Weeks like this are such a good reminder of the energy, talent, and leadership our young people bring to the community, and how important it is to genuinely listen to and uplift young people 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the week such a success! And an extra special shout out to our amazing sponsors. Ara Taiohi - Peak Body for Youth Development and PAK'nSAVE Kapiti, and our local colleges Kapiti College, Paraparaumu College & Otaki College Library for supporting these events and helping us create opportunities for rangatahi to connect, have fun, and be celebrated.

Already looking forward to next year 🙌
