Submit: A Life Surrendered to God
Ephesians 5:1–25.

Thank you for joining us today. We are truly grateful you came. Our prayer is that God’s Word has blessed your heart and strengthened your spirit.
A life surrendered to God is a life filled with love, light, and obedience to the Holy Spirit. Submission is not a burden.

It is the pathway to freedom, peace, and spiritual maturity.
When we choose to imitate God, turn away from sin, walk in His light, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide our relationships, we become a church that reflects Jesus to the world.
May we choose each day to submit our hearts, our desires, and our relationships to the Lord.

Church, the Spirit wants to lead you. He desires to guide your steps, direct your decisions, shape your character, empower your calling, and walk with you daily.
When we surrender to His voice, stay sensitive to His promptings, root ourselves in Scripture, follow His peace, and obey quickly, we position ourselves to live a Spirit led life.
The Holy Spirit is not distant He is your Guide, your Helper, your Counsellor, and your Leader.

🌟 Outreach Message to the Community.

SSEC NZ has launched a new campaign focused on reaching out to the Marae and the wider community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This mission is not just an event it is our calling. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 28:19–20 that we are to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach, with the assurance that His presence goes with us.
The early church in the Book of Acts shows us what happens when God’s people step out in faith: they prayed, they shared, they served, and the Lord added to their number daily. Their example teaches us that outreach is not a program but a Spirit led lifestyle of compassion, courage, and obedience.

As part of this vision, our outreach ministry will now run every first Sunday afternoon and every fourth Sunday morning, beginning in June. This rhythm allows us to consistently connect with the Marae, families, neighbourhoods, and the wider community carrying hope, healing, and the message of Jesus. We reach out because Christ reached out to us.
We love because He first loved us. We serve because His Spirit empowers us. Our desire is to walk into our communities with open hearts and open hands, reflecting the bold faith of Acts and fulfilling the Great Commission.
Together, we go. Together, we serve. Together, we make Christ known.
