We have arrived in Invercargill today, beautiful fine weather all the way down the island. It is offical that you can mix motor racing with other hobbies. Found a quilt shop on the main road leaving Ashburton, plenty of parking so a stop and visit was a must.

Enjoyed a cheese roll in Balclutha, arriving at the track round lunchtime.
Collected the George Begg Festival goodie bag with our wristbands, the shirts we ordered and the treats, a full bag.

Practice and qualifying tomorrow and the weather is looking great.Few pic’s we took along the way.

HRT are on the road again. Crossed over the Cook Strait yesterday and have stopped in Kaikoura for a couple of days. We are heading to the George Begg Festival in Invercargill. Racing is this weekend.
Trip across the ditch was calm and we were treated to a big group of dolphins playing around the ferry. The Pork Pie charity run was also on the road and stopped in Kaikoura as well. They were at a function next door to our motel room last night. Heading south again tomorrow.
