In May 2014 Leigh created the Blissful Acts of Kindness Project, a home grown Kiwi kindness project with a global dream. By March 2015 the project had grown with a number of people taking the project to their heart, and over 30,000 kindness cards in circulation around the world. Early in 2016 we became a registered Charity - Kind Hearts Trust. Our VISION is to initiate and inspire acts of kindness
, changing our world one beautiful act at a time. Our core VALUE is unconditional kindness. Beautiful, FREE Kindness Cards can be ordered from anywhere in the world, by emailing [email protected] or PM on this page. The Kind Hearts Trust has three ongoing initiatives.
* Kind Hearts Coffee - an unconditional act of kindness available to all members of the community. When purchasing a coffee at our participating cafes, you can buy another for someone and ‘pay it forward’, use our kindness cards to leave them a message. Find out which of our Kind Hearts cafes are by visiting our
website kindheartsmovement.org
Email [email protected] to enquire how to become a Kind Hearts café.
* Kind Hearts for Parents - twice a week we deliver snack food and toiletries to the Parents room in the Children’s ward and to the Neonates at Palmerston North hospital. We rely totally on donations for this initiative. For more information go to our website, kindheartsmovement.org or email [email protected]
* Kind Hearts in Schools - an initiative set up to support our local schools to instil a culture of kindness, where children (and adults) can interact positively and with kindness with each other and their community. Also importantly learn how to be kind to themselves. For more information about our Schools initiative go to our website kindheartsmovement.org or email [email protected]
If you wish to donate funds to help with these initiatives, and printing costs of the kindness cards, please email [email protected] or go to our website kindheartsmovement.org
