Is an innovative service for parents aged between 13 and 25 who have, or will be having, a child. OUR VISION
• To create a space where young parents and their whānau feel they belong

• To assist young parents to build their child’s mana, along with their own

• To support each parent to identify their dream and achieve it

• To scaffold young parents until they confidently and

completely are engaging with their world

YOUNG PARENTS LEARNING HUB
Our focus is to support young parents in building their confidence to achieve their dreams. This happens in a warm and fun environment, with great activities and food, where learning alongside your children is encouraged and lifelong friendships are formed. Topics and activities include:
-Personal development-developing one’s own dream
-Communication skills
-Learning about positive parenting methods
-Healthy relationships and sexual health
-Cooking
-Budgeting
-Career exploration
-Confidence building
-NCEA
-Support to begin (or continue) further studies

PARENTING COURSE
Our 7 week course provides a supported space for parents under 25 to learn about positive parenting methods. Come and make connections with other young parents who are facing the same joys and challenges that children bring. IN-HOME SUPPORT
Our social work service is to support young parents in achieving the vision they have for themselves and their whānau. We will assist them in developing a plan to achieve their goals, and help to remove any barriers which may be hindering their potential.
