What an amazing night it was celebrating the young talent in the Manawatū region.

With over 160+ nominations and 46 New Zealand reps, here are our finalists for the Code Awards. Congratulations to all!

The Manawatū Secondary School Sports Awards is dedicated to recognising our regions highest performing secondary school athletes, volunteers, and officials.

The ceremony will be held 26th October, starting 6pm, at the Regent on Broadway.

Save the date - We will be hosting the Manawatū Secondary School Sports Awards at the Regent Theatre on 26 October!!

This year we celebrate a new award - Active Recreation Champion 🏆 This award recognises a student who has gone above and beyond to create opportunities in the Active Recreation space for people to become more active!

We cannot wait to celebrate our Secondary School athletes who have achieved great things over the past year! We hope to see you (in person 🥳) in October 👏🔥

There were some fantastic results and three new best times!

Weightlifting, small bore rifle shooting, cricket and athletics were the top sports at this year's awards.

With Winter Tournament Week being canceled AGAIN, use this to help our young people through this unknown time ❤

There is no doubt that young people will be feeling disappointed with the loss of sport. Parents can’t erase the disappointment their children feel, particularly where seasons have ended abruptly or events have been cancelled, but there are ways they can support them through the disappointment.
