Last week saw Dawgsouljahz go head-to-head with our DS side, 419 take on B12 Women’s, and DA face off against the Tiny Turbos.
Yes, that’s right — part way through the module we introduced another Men’s team under DS. This created an opportunity for some of our players who competed in the Men’s C Grade in the first round to step up and have a go in the Men’s B Grade in the final round. It also allowed us to provide another option for players who didn’t have a team to join. A huge thank you to Ronan Tua for stepping up to support and take on this team — we appreciate your commitment 👏🏽
We’re proud to have four teams competing in the module competition and to continue creating a strong pathway for everyone to play the game we all love — Touch.
As we head into the final week of module touch this week, we’re excited to start planning for some of our teams to return to the January Whakatāne Tournament in 2027, and hopefully enter many more Touch tournaments in 2026/27 we haven’t yet been part of yet 😎
