We had this heartfelt message from a family today, in appreciation of our StarLight Joy Christmas gifts:

“I did want to say thank you for the gift bag at christmas time. Our kids each got one of the teddy bears and they both love them and take them to bed each night.”

More Whitcoulls bears delivered to be weighted and delivered into community! Thanks to Cherie and her amazing skills at Butterfly Compassion Community - BCC

My heart is full catching up with our amazing Cherie, who specialises in our Sensory area x
Back down in Palmy and with weighted toys which we handed to Norelle to get to group “ supporting families with mental health””. Norelle gave more teddies to Cherie to weight and Cherie handed over those she brought down ready for family requests .😍🙏🦋

Right! You all hade a month to relax and now it is time to hit our next project!

EASTER!
We gather Easter eggs, and we make wee parcels.
1 Large egg, and 5 small eggs.. bagged up and decorated to gift to people in our community.

We just received this amazingly generous donation of books and sweets from the Nga Whetu team at a local service, all to add value to the gift bags we are packing on Sunday!

If you wish to help or donate its not too late! Drop offs to Awapuni Library or St Matthew's Anglican Palmerston North are all gratefully received.

Packing from about 130pm on Sunday 30th November at St Matthew's.

Shout out to Whitcoulls Plaza and the amazing local community! We are a recipient of the Plaza's donated Bears, which we get to then pass on to other community groups and put in our gift parcels fo kids in out community!
