SKIP’s aim is that all children in New Zealand are safe and nurtured, and grow into happy, capable adults. We do this by developing the capability of communities to support parents to build positive relationships with their children. SKIP works with communities to support parents to build positive relationships with their children. Its focus is families with children five and under, and it is mana

ged by a small team in the Ministry of Social Development. Here at Te Aroha Noa Community Services in Highbury Palmerston North we provide a range of services and events for whānau to help achieve the SKIP vision of building happy and healthy communities which support parents and children to reach their full potential. Keep an eye out on our page for details about fun family gatherings we will be holding over the year.
